Abstract
Result of the research showed differences in separation of protein band pattern on several samples, variation in thickness of protein band or existence of protein band in each samples. Soaking of plant with 0.05% EMS concentration and 12 hour length of soaking resulted in 17 bands, the same result also obtained with 0.01% EMS concentration for 8 hour. Fewer bands (10) obtained on sample 28 and 26 that soaked with 0.01% and 0.05% EMS for 12 and 8 hour respectively. Fewer band (10 bands) observed in sample 26 and 28 with 0.05% EMS and 8 hour soaking time, 0.01% EMS and 12 hour soaking time, respectively. Highest total protein concentration obtained in sample 44 as big as 14.2 ppm. Lowest total protein concentration obtained in sample 26 as low as 14.2 ppm. Control sample showed 8 ppm total protein concentration. Binary data obtained from converting protein bands showed dendogram that indicated 25% mutation occurred.
